About

Every holiday for years now, my dad has always given the same answer when I ask what he would like to receive from me.

Poetry.

Instead of precious “book money” or an iTunes gift card, he simply asks that I exercise my God-given talents and let him see the result.

The result, for now, is this collection.

I’m so thankful that he, among others, has pushed me to keep writing both when the mood strikes me and when a thousand other thoughts and interests duel for my attention. I doubt I would have stuck with this subplot of my life without encouragement!

I hope anyone reading my poetry is refreshed and edified as they look over my shoulder on this collection dedicated to my dad and written for the glory of God.

Thanks, and enjoy!
